We are a tuition-free public charter school authorized by D49, proudly serving the Banning Lewis Ranch community and surrounding neighborhoods in Colorado Springs since 2006. With two campuses located just a mile apart, we provide an award-winning, seamless K-12 education. Our approach combines traditional and modern programming to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences. Our dedicated staff delivers a well-rounded, research-based education enriched with character development and a variety of extracurricular opportunities in sports, arts, and other activities.

This morning, our principal, Mrs. Voltz, and our counselor, Miss Korver, attended the Purple Star Schools ceremony in Denver, where Banning Lewis Ranch Academy was officially recognized for its commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families.

The Purple Star designation is awarded to schools that demonstrate exceptional dedication to meeting the unique needs of military families – ensuring students feel welcomed, supported, and set up for success. This recognition reflects the hard work of our staff and community in creating an inclusive and responsive environment for all.

We are honored to receive this distinction and remain committed to serving those who serve our country.

Join us for Youth Mental Health First Aid training on May 2 (8:00 AM–4:00 PM at BLPA) and gain the tools to recognize warning signs, respond in a crisis, and connect youth to the help they need.

This evidence-based training will teach you how to:
✔️ Identify signs of mental health challenges
✔️ Respond with confidence and care
✔️ Use the ALGEE Action Plan to support youth

🍽️ Lunch is provided
🎯 Goal: 40 trained community members
